Livery

At Moat Farm Equestrian we offer DIY and Full Livery at £35/£90 per week. This includes tow reasonably sized haylage nets per day.

Stables are of a generous size (12ft x 12ft for horses and 11ft x 11ft for ponies), have fixed Quattro 22mm rubber matting, are well lit and very airy and we use biodegradable bedding. Each livery Client has their own locked tack cupboard for storage and we provide lightweight tools and wheelbarrows for that lovely job of mucking out! We’ve installed hose pipes in every block of stables so you don’t have to carry heavy buckets of water and can conserve your energy for what is important – riding your horse!

We aim to offer as much year round turnout as we can, subject to weather and ground conditions.

In addition to the above, our Livery Clients have the convenience of the indoor and outdoor schools on site which means that you can wait until the very last minute before you tack up your horse – No more worrying about whether he will load into the van! Our Clients can enjoy the hire of the schools and long hacks out on the secluded beach without the need for any roadwork. For the humans we have a heated common room offering hot and cold drinks and light refreshments, lots of car parking and the ambience of a small, friendly and well run yard.

With all our liveries we give each horse/pony their morning feed, prepared by the owner the night before.

Full Livery includes the exercising or lunging of your horse three times a week.

We regularly have Farrier/Vet/Equine Dentist visits, although you are welcome to arrange your own.
