Regular Classes At Moat Farm Equestrian

Come and enjoy our small specialised classes and courses in a large indoor school and relax afterwards in our heated common room with a cup of tea:-

Stable Management Course leading to BHS Horse Owner’s Certificate. A six week practical and theoretical course aiming to give confidence to potential, new or just curious horse owners incorporating everything from the care of your horse and his stable environment to being aware as to your horse’s physical condition, spotting signs of illness early on and having a working knowledge of basic equine first aid. Invaluable. Wish this was on offer when I was younger! Six week course – £150 per person. Places limited to no more than six.

Introduction to Dressage. Lots of people are curious, it is certainly worth a try to see if this is for you and your horse. Poetry in motion in my opinion and our experienced instructor will guide you through. We don’t expect ANY prior knowledge of this subject. As long as your horse can walk, trot and canter a 20 metre circle then why not have a go? £20 per person per class. Numbers limited to no more than six in the class.

Junior Jumping Class. A very popular class for our Clients aged 16 years and under. We limit the numbers to no more than four in each class and we find that everyone benefits from having others to work with. £15 per person on your own horse or pony.

Adult Flatwork Class. Again very popular and limited to no more than four in each class. A good way to meet others and socialise whilst improving your riding skills. £15.00 per person on your own horse or pony.

Adult Jumping Class. Not competitive at all just great fun and several of our riders have really improved their ability and confidence from working with others in a small group of four. £15 per person on your own horse or pony.

Junior Flatwork Class. A good way to meet others and socialise and have some fun. Class limited to four people. £15 per person on your own horse or pony.

M0at Farm pony Club. For children from four years upwards especially for those NOT owning a pony – £12 each.

*For an additional charge and subject to availability, a horse or pony can be hired from us for any of these classes.

(We operate a 24 hour cancellation policy on all our classes and lessons. If we receive less than 24 hours notice of a cancellation then we will charge for the full price of the lesson).
