MOAT FARM EQUESTRIAN are pleased to offer private “one to one” riding lessons with our BHSAI Instructor, Deana Tarr, on Fridays from 1.00pm until 8.00pm in our large indoor school.
Deana is a very experienced, calm and patient instructor who enjoys teaching everyone from complete beginners (whether they adults or children) to more experienced riders wishing to broaden their skills.
When you book a lesson it is totally bespoke and you can discuss your individual requirements with Deana and she will tailor the lesson to suit you. It may be that you want to learn how to tack up as well as how to ride, to learn how to lead a horse to and from his stable safely, or if you are more experience, to have a private jumping lesson or dressage …. the list is endless!
All our new riders are automatically put on the lunge line so that you can relax and listen to Deana without having to worry about steering and controlling your horse in those very early days of learning to ride. Deana will help you to gain confidence and build up your ability in a calm, relaxed environment. Lessons range for 30 minutes (ideal for new riders and children under fifteen years), 40 minutes, and one hour.
All lessons are conducted in our large (47m x 22m) indoor school which has safety boarding, a Martin Collins waxed surface and a full set of showjumps. We have games for our young riders to make learning even more fun and enjoyable. It is difficult to feel nervous if you are concentrating on riding your pony whilst carefully carrying an egg and spoon or learning to make your pony stand still whilst you practice throwing bean bags into hoops! Lessons will take place all year.
WE ASK that you book and commit to four lessons in advance. These don’t have to be every Friday, just as long as we have a commitment in the diary. We will ask for payment in advance for the four lessons and we regret that we are not able to offer a refund for a cancellation for any reason.
Please telephone us on 01229 588522/869663 to discuss your requirements. If we are unavailable, please leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
